Consonant Clusters
Consonant clusters are a group, or sequence, of consonants that
appear together in a syllable without a vowel between
them. Consonant clusters are different to consonant digraphs
which are groups of two or more symbols which really stand for
just one sound. Example: the groups 'spl' and 'ts' are consonant
clusters in the word splits.
